Cookie Policy
Cookies & similar technologies
Last updated: August 29, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Little Spirit Co. uses cookies and similar technologies on littlespiritco.com, and how you can control them. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. We also use localStorage, a similar browser storage mechanism. In this policy we call all of these “cookies”. “First-party” cookies are set by littlespiritco.com; “third-party” cookies are set by other companies whose tools we use.
2. Our approach — consent first
We use Google Consent Mode v2. On your first visit, everything except strictly necessary storage is switched off. Google’s tags load in a limited, cookieless mode and set no identifiers until you choose “Accept all” or turn on a category. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category, and change your choice at any time:
We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends GPC, we keep advertising cookies off even if you previously allowed them.
3. Categories we use
| Category | Set when | Purpose | Examples & typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Always active | Remembering your cookie choice; keeping the site secure and working correctly. These do not require consent. | lsco-consent-v1 (first-party, browser localStorage, kept until you change or clear it). Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set short-lived cookies for security and load balancing. |
| Analytics | Only if you allow it | Aggregate statistics about how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. No advertising use. | Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager — _ga (13 months–2 years), _ga_XXXXXXXX (13 months–2 years), _gid (24 hours). Set only when Analytics is enabled in our tag manager and you consent. |
| Advertising | Only if you allow it | Measuring the performance of any advertising and limiting how often ads are shown. | Google Ads / Google Marketing Platform — _gcl_au (90 days), and IDE / test_cookie set by doubleclick.net. Set only when advertising tags are configured and you consent. |
The exact cookies set depend on which tags are active in our Google Tag Manager container at any time. [Run a cookie scan once tags are live and keep this list current.]
4. Other tools
- Vercel Web Analytics — we use our host’s privacy-friendly analytics, which measures aggregate traffic without cookies and without tracking you across sites. It does not require consent.
- Fonts — our fonts are served from our own domain. We do not load fonts from Google’s servers, so no font-related cookies are set.
5. Third-party sites
When you follow a “Register” link you go to Sawyer, and our social links take you to Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies.
6. How to manage cookies
- Use Cookie settings (in the footer, or the button above) to change your choice on this site at any time.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — see your browser’s help pages. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site working.
- Opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Learn about interest-based advertising choices at youradchoices.com (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU/UK).
7. “Do Not Track” and GPC
Browsers’ “Do Not Track” signal has no agreed standard and we do not respond to it. We do respond to Global Privacy Control (GPC) for the advertising category, as described above.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version.
