This Privacy Policy explains how Little Spirit Co. (“Little Spirit Co.”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit littlespiritco.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it. Enrolment, payments, forms, and waivers are handled on a separate platform (Sawyer) — see “Registration and payments” below.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Little Spirit Co. is an on-site preschool cheer and movement enrichment program founded by Jacqueline. We partner with preschools to run classes for enrolled children. For this Site, Little Spirit Co. is the “controller” of the personal information described below.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the contact form we collect your name and email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, the preschool or organisation you mention, your child’s age, and whatever you write in your message.

Please do not include sensitive information (for example medical conditions or allergies) in the contact form. That information is collected during registration on Sawyer, where it belongs.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you, and the pages you view. This is used for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate traffic measurement.

Analytics and advertising data (only with your consent)

If you allow analytics or advertising cookies, tools such as Google Analytics collect usage information — pages viewed, approximate (city-level) location, and on-site interactions. Until you consent, these tools run in a limited, cookieless mode and set no identifiers. See our Cookie Policy.

Your cookie choice

We store your consent preference in your browser (localStorage, key “lsco-consent-v1”) so we can honour it on future visits. We do not create user accounts on this Site, and we do not collect or process payment information here.

3. How and why we use your information

To respond to your enquiry and follow up with you about the program.
To discuss bringing Little Spirit Co. to a preschool.
To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
With your consent, to measure how the Site is used and the performance of any advertising.
To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

If you are in the United Kingdom or the EEA, we rely on the following legal bases:

Responding to enquiries and pre-enrolment discussions — our legitimate interests, and/or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Running a secure, functional website — our legitimate interests.
Analytics and advertising cookies — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
Legal compliance — compliance with a legal obligation.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use Google Consent Mode v2: non-essential technologies stay off until you allow them. Full details, including the categories and specific cookies, are in our Cookie Policy.

6. Registration and payments (Sawyer)

Enrolling a child, entering emergency, medical, and allergy details, choosing a t-shirt size and bow, signing waivers, and paying are all handled on Sawyer, a third-party platform. When you follow a “Register” link you leave this Site. Information you provide on Sawyer is governed by Sawyer’s own privacy policy and terms. Little Spirit Co. accesses the class rosters and the details parents submit there in order to run the program.

7. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract, and only as needed to provide their service:

Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure.
Supabase — the database that stores contact-form submissions.
Resend — sends us the notification email for each contact-form submission.
Google — Tag Manager, Analytics, and advertising tools (only if you consent).

We may also disclose information where required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Little Spirit Co., our families, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. [Confirm a data-processing agreement is in place with each provider.]

8. International transfers

Our service providers are based in, or store data in, the United States and potentially other countries. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on an appropriate safeguard such as the UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses, an adequacy decision, or the EU–US / UK–US Data Privacy Framework. 9. How long we keep information

Contact-form submissions — kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period (up to 24 months after our last contact with you), then deleted or anonymised. [Set a definitive period.]
Server logs — retained by our hosting provider for a short period under its standard policy.
Your cookie choice — stored in your browser until you change or clear it; we may ask you to reconfirm periodically.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.

If you are a resident of California or another US state with privacy legislation, you may also have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” / targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. To opt out of advertising cookies, use “Cookie settings”. We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal for the advertising category.

To exercise any right, email hello@littlespiritco.com. We may need to verify your identity. UK/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). [Name the lead supervisory authority.]

11. Children’s privacy

This Site is intended for parents, guardians, and preschool staff — not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this Site. Any information about a child (such as age, or, during registration, health and allergy details) is provided by an adult, and registration takes place on Sawyer under its policies. If you believe a child has provided us information through this Site, contact hello@littlespiritco.com and we will delete it. [Legal review recommended for COPPA (US) and UK/EU children’s-data rules, given the audience.]

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls at our providers — to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

13. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites, including Sawyer and Instagram. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices; review their policies before providing information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above, and highlight material changes where appropriate.
